If your old furnace is still hooked up, the first thing our furnace experts will do is remove the old unit and prepare the area for the new system. This may include temporarily turning off the electrical breakers and natural gas line.
Once the old unit has been removed, our licensed technicians will install your new heating system. If your new system differs in size or shape from your old one, minor alterations may need to be made to your furnace area.
During the installation, we make sure to inspect and test your furnace to ensure proper operation once it has been installed.
After everything has been installed and verified, we clean up after ourselves and leave you to enjoy the comfort provided by your new furnace.
Can I install a furnace myself?
Installation of a new furnace is a difficult and involved process that requires proper training to be done safely. Additionally, all new gas burning pieces of equipment installed in Manitoba must be inspected by Manitoba Hydro. In order to pass this inspection, they must be install by a certified technician with a current “B” gas ticket.
